After having the Podcast of the Week entries for April, we will now reveal the Podcast of the Month!
There were three Podcast of the Week entries last month, and all of them made great contributions in terms of entrepreneurial tips, ideas, and valuable skills for podcast listeners. But still, there will always be one podcast that will stand out.
For a quick recap, here are the Podcast of the Week entries for the entire month of April:
- 48 Days Online: You Must Be What You Can Be is hosted by Dan Miller. In this episode, Dan gave principles that will encourage listeners to step out, not settle for anything less and become the best of what they can be!
- This is Your Life Podcast EP: 57 Why You Must Confront Seemingly Indispensable but Disrespectful Team Members. The show is hosted by Michael Hyatt. In this episode, Michael discussed the importance of confrontation in any growing team or organization and how it can be done while keeping a good reputation and healthy working relationships with other team members.
Now that the we know which podcasts have landed as Podcast of the Week, it’s time to announce the Podcast of the Month for April!
The Podcast of the Month winner is:
This was the first episode of the show. Donald Kelly, host of The Sales Evangelist, interviewed a pro in sales. He is no other than Jeffrey Gitomer.
Jeffrey is a sales expert and he believes that sales people need to remember that “People don’t love to be sold but they love to BUY.”
The episode moved as Jeffrey discussed that a sales person should be more assertive in knowing what the customer really wants rather than being aggressive in giving all sorts of information which may just turn them off.
As a sales expert, Jeffrey gets his customers to buy from him by placing high value on what the customer values. He believes that in sales, everyone will encounter rejection. You just have to learn how to present your product next time and prioritize the value of people over product. Building relationships with your customers and never giving up are some of the many principles Jeffrey shared about sales in this episode.
This was definitely an episode deserving of the Podcast of the Month!
